Consultancy

Our approach to consultancy is a collaborative one – we want our clients to succeed.

The first thing we do is work with our clients to form a shared understanding of their current situation, issues and stated requirements.  This is as you would expect.  The next usual step is to design and deliver interventions to fit their stated requirements.

An initial meeting will be set up with the commissioning client and representatives from the areas most affected by the situation to draw up a brief. In this session we will articulate a shared understanding of what it is we’re trying to achieve, including SMARTER success measures, which will enable us to present the client with an action plan for approval.

This extra step allows:

·         the brief to be robustly tested for relevance to the organisation, team and individual goals

·         a chemistry test - the client and consultants experience what working with each other might be like, whilst working on ‘real work’

·         a reality check - the consultants to realise that the work falls out with their scope but can still add value by providing a consultants view to the brief

We have designed and delivered interventions from leadership development programmes and performance management through to business planning and team facilitation; we have also helped organisations successfully implement their own in – house consulting capability.

As external consultants, we provide fresh, objective eyes and ears: we observe and comment in order for our clients to understand the consequences of repeating effective and ineffective patterns.  Because those eyes and ears have also looked in on many other organisations, we bring reassurance and tried and tested methodologies, and a broader perspective.
